First wheelchair curler to play in the Day Men's League at TCC!

Longtime curler Bill Spinney has spent a lot of time practicing this year so he could continue to curl competitively from a wheelchair. 

Congratulations to Team Green on winning the 2026 Nova Scotia Men's Grandmasters!

Team Green (Left to Right: Dwayne Green, Larry Higgins, Blanchard Atkinson and Mike Topley) defeated Team Jacob of the Dartmouth Curling Club 9-3 in the final to win the 2026 Nova Scotia Men's Grandmasters Championship (aged 70+).

Team McDonah/ McCurdy (Olivia McDonah and Chris McCurdy) is excited to offer an Introduction to Mixed Doubles Curling session!

This session is perfect for curlers looking to try something new, or for those interested in learning the basics of the Mixed Doubles format. Learn the rules and structure of Mixed Doubles, practice key shots and strategy, and play guided mini-games.

No partner? No problem! Individuals are welcome, and we'll help pair participants as needed!

Date: Friday, March 6

Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Cost: $10 per person (all proceeds in support of Curling Canada's "Fran Todd- All Heart" and the "For the Love of Curling" scholarship programs)

Spaces may be limited, so be sure to register early!

A new TCC hoodie sale is live now at the Club!

Adult hoodies ($46 including HST) and youth hoodies ($39.90 including HST) are available in numerous colours. Orders can be placed at the Club in between evening draws February 16-19. Cash is preferred if the bar is busy.

We would like to send out our congratulations to some of our junior members for their recent successes.

Over the weekend, the team of Cameron Cox, Charlotte Cox and Isabella Robinson won a U9/ U12 Triples Jamboree. Alongside Eli Glintz and Coach Gerald Glintz, the same team won the Bronze medal in the four-person event. Both events were held at the Windsor Curling Club.

In-person registration for Junior and Pre-Junior curling starts Monday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. Registration will be open from October 27-October 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Little Rocks (Pre-Junior) Program - children aged 8-12 ($50.00)

Junior Program - kids aged 12-20 ($105.00)  

Grants are available through KidSport Nova Scotia and Jumpstart.

As per our Facility Rental policy, the TCC will make its facility available on a rental basis to members and non-members. For more information, please contact the Rink Manager (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Lounge Rental: Truro Curling Club has a large second floor lounge area with full bar services available during the curling season (October 1 - March 31). There is a maximum seating capacity of 120 persons.

These rates are the same year-round. All rates include 14% HST.

Facility Rental: This rental includes the Ice Shed, Bar and Kitchen during the curling season (October 1 - March 31). 

 All rates include 14% HST.

Off-Season Ice Shed Rental: During the off-season (April 1 - September 30), our ice shed can be rented for a minimum of 4 hours at a rate of $60/ hour. Any staff required during the rental of the ice shed will be at a rate of $30/ hour per staff member. TCC members are eligible for a discount of 15% ($51/hour).
