Team McDonah/ McCurdy (Olivia McDonah and Chris McCurdy) is excited to offer an Introduction to Mixed Doubles Curling session!
This session is perfect for curlers looking to try something new, or for those interested in learning the basics of the Mixed Doubles format. Learn the rules and structure of Mixed Doubles, practice key shots and strategy, and play guided mini-games.
No partner? No problem! Individuals are welcome, and we'll help pair participants as needed!

Cost: $10 per person (all proceeds in support of Curling Canada's "Fran Todd- All Heart" and the "For the Love of Curling" scholarship programs)

A new TCC hoodie sale is live now at the Club!
Adult hoodies ($46 including HST) and youth hoodies ($39.90 including HST) are available in numerous colours. Orders can be placed at the Club in between evening draws February 16-19. Cash is preferred if the bar is busy.
We would like to send out our congratulations to some of our junior members for their recent successes.
Over the weekend, the team of Cameron Cox, Charlotte Cox and Isabella Robinson won a U9/ U12 Triples Jamboree. Alongside Eli Glintz and Coach Gerald Glintz, the same team won the Bronze medal in the four-person event. Both events were held at the Windsor Curling Club.

In-person registration for Junior and Pre-Junior curling starts Monday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. Registration will be open from October 27-October 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Little Rocks (Pre-Junior) Program - children aged 8-12 ($50.00)

Lounge Rental: Truro Curling Club has a large second floor lounge area with full bar services available during the curling season (October 1 - March 31). There is a maximum seating capacity of 120 persons.

Off-Season Ice Shed Rental: During the off-season (April 1 - September 30), our ice shed can be rented for a minimum of 4 hours at a rate of $60/ hour. Any staff required during the rental of the ice shed will be at a rate of $30/ hour per staff member. TCC members are eligible for a discount of 15% ($51/hour).

TCC members can enter the pool by submitting a completed entry form before the deadline of Thursday, February 13 at 8:30 p.m. Emailed copies of the form are preferred, but there will be paper copies available at the bar. The cost of entry into the pool is $10 per member, and can be paid by cash only to Steve at the bar by the entry deadline (February 13). All money collected will paid out as prizes to the top three winners of the pool.
To complete the form online, follow these steps:
1) Download the Scotties Pool Entry Form.
2) Open the Excel document and click "Enable Editing" near the top of the workbook. This will allow you to fill in the blanks.
3) Fill out your name, phone number and email address near the top of the form.
4) Use the drop down lists next to each of the games (green cells) to select who you think will win the game. Each correct guess is worth 1 point.
5) Select the Top 3 teams in Pool A and Pool B using the drop down lists. Each correct guess is worth 2 points.
6) Select the 4 playoff teams using the drop down lists. Each correct guess is worth 2 points.
7) Select the two teams that will play in the finals (drop-down lists for each Team). Each correct guess is worth 3 points.
8) Finally, select the Winner of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Correctly guessing the winner will earn you 5 points!

10) Pay your entry fee ($10 cash) at the bar.
